Before entering college, I had a plan for my whole life. It was clear and compelling: To change the world, graduate from a famous college, have a cool office, surround myself with innovation and great relationships and never grow up. So far, it's all worked out that way.
I get to choose who will be our clients and we actively seek visionaries, thought leaders and people with passion for customership, which runs parallel to my extraordinary career, current work and calling. The Communicators, Inc. is the smallest company I've worked for and I've stayed here longer than other companies in that series if destinations to the top.
I became president of The Communicators in 1991. As an entrepreneur and innovator, does that tell us small business is the new "in" business? Since I'm living that out, I sure hope that's the case. Oh yes, what about my desk? My work space and office environment look like everyone's dream and we won the first national award for the Best Dressed Small Business in 1997 that says The Communicators, Inc. is the best small business in the nation--physically, technologically and socially responsible--in terms of staff and customers who love to come here and stay forever.
That's our firm's work--advisors and servant leaders to boards of directors of more than 300 national associations and non-profit organizations.

Describe the legacy you want to leave
Redefined and refined leadership to enable more to take wishes into actions in a systematic, renewing manner. It will be said, she defined the movement that went beyond "sustainability" and into the pure play business model, which is nature. Nothing wasted and renewal as the growth source.

I checked out your website--love the gazeebo and now's the perfect Texas time of year to start enjoying it. Ever get down to Austin? We might be able to find a gazeebo down here to meet under and discuss venture and philanthropy!
.5 to 1 hour per day on the ning thing for me right now since it is all about organic growth at this point. rev. 2.0 will be more about content and I expect that would increase to say a 1-2 hours per day.
Since I am an admistrator I see the posts, requests etc. The good news is people can connect, interact and contribute w/o me. A good thing.
Face time and phone far outweight ning time and for me relationship development is a blend of technology and what I would call old school. THe technology is a huge accelerator. One of thie things I am looking at right now is integrating ning open plaform with CRm to help manage more of the transcations...
